Established in 2002, Artisan is an independent tailormade tour operator encompassing multiple travel brands, including The Aurora Zone – the UK’s only holiday brand solely dedicated to Northern Lights trips. They are experts in bespoke tour packages to bucket list destinations across its three brands which also include Activities Abroad and The Artisan Travel Company. They combine personal experience with local knowledge to carefully craft itineraries which ensure the experience is more than just a holiday.

How has Panoramic helped?

Panoramic has provided funding to enable the management buyout led by MD Amy Hope. Panoramic invested in Artisan alongside the management team, Ian Finlay and Stewart Lambert, who will be non-executive chairman. Panoramic worked alongside Ian with their successful investment in Specialist Tours between 2013 and 2015. The investment will create several skilled jobs in Newcastle Upon Tyne to facilitate the growth of the three brands.
